Shoulder To The Stone is both a collaborative song and a compilation CD project that is the result of Musicians, Artists, and Song Writers acting in concert to raise money for a Haitian orphanage and a relief worker who lost his home and all but one brother in the earthquake.

As you can see from the attached photos the 2 house have been completed.

Yesterday I have signed the contract for the septic tank for a total amount of 6,850 USD. The job will be completed in 12 days starting from next Monday.

My departure for good, from Haiti is planned for the 15 of December.  My son Marco will remain in Port Au Prince and will follow up the completion of the project and eventually the next phase, that is the construction of the 3 house, for which another fund rising will be necessary as the resources are almost depleted, more or less only 4,000 USD will remain after the bathrooms tiling project will be commissioned and completed.

 

 

 

I would like to thank everybody for the financial contribution but also for the moral support and help I have received in the last 8 months.

 

The opening and delivery of the two houses to the the nuns isscheduled for the 11 of December.

The opening will be documented with a photo reportage which will show also the internal rooms furnished with bunk beds, mattresses and lockers. for the 36 kids.
